Sorry we’ve been slacking a bit with updating Fen’s site. She is doing really well and continues to surprise us every day. Especially with her amazing ability to burp, fart and cough all at the same time. I’m surprised her head doesn’t explode when she does that.
Yesterday we had her first pictures taken at Photo Innovations. We’ve got some great pictures to share and I should have them posted here sometime today.
In the meantime, here’s a rare pic of Fenley smiling.
I thought Fenley was a little chubby, but this little guy takes the cake…the whole cake! Albeit this little guy from the Far East is quite a bit older…it looks as if his diet does not consist of much rice and fish.
Well, we thought she would never get here, but Lori finally popped the little booger out. Lori was in labor all day on Tuesday the 15th while at work. After work we decided to go to the hospital to see if it was time. Sure enough, Little Fen was ready to come out. About 8 hours later and 49 minutes of Lori pushing her heart out, Fenley was born.
Without further adieu, introducing Fenley Katherine Wood.
And here’s her stats:
Born at 3:49 AM on Wednesday July 16th, 2008
Weight: 9 pounds 4 ounces
Length: 21.5 inches
Cheek Size: Friggin’ huge!!
Thanks to all of our great family and friends for THE BEST BABY SHOWER EVER! Craig and I are just so lucky to have so many great people in our lives. We are so grateful for everything you do for us. I will NEVER forget June 8, 2008! Thank you everyone!
We had our routine Dr. visit today and the wee one is doing great! We measured at 33 weeks and the Dr. said she’s close to 4 lbs now. It’s getting close!
Here’s some pictures that were captured during our recent 4D ultrasound. For the first half of the ultrasound, Fenley did not want to show her face. But after some prodding she finally moved her legs and arms away from her face and gave us a good look at her. In case you were wondering, we had the 4D ultrasound performed at Early Images in Southern Indiana.
Here’s a couple short videos of Fenley during our recent 4D ultrasound. She was not very cooperative for the first 10 minutes of the ultrasound, but she finally turned to show her pretty little face.
